“We keep dreaming”Inspired by “The Four Seasons”

Cultures around the world have long embraced the changing seasons, inspiring countless works of art on the theme of the four seasons.

This series was inspired by The Four Seasons, a set of concertos by the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, and the sonnets accompanying the score, which describe the scenes depicted in the music. Through traditional Japanese painting techniques on silk, I have sought to express our sensitivity to nature’s changing rhythms and the seasons that have shaped our lives.
